Every now and again it is healthy to be reminded of what Jesus said in Matthew 10:34-39. To be reminded that Jesus did not come to bring the kind of peace that glosses over deep differences just for the sake of superficial harmony. Conflict and disagreement will arise between those who choose to follow Christ and those who don't.
Remember this! Because, standing up for him and proclaiming his name will require great boldness and courage in the days ahead. Begin preparing yourselves for the conclusion that your Christian values are about to begin conflicting with the current Government. Neither have the impression that you will be operating underneath the protection of the first amendment of the Constitution here in the United States. As you can read here, you can expect very little in the form of Constitutional protection for your religious expression of values. Men and women of righteousness see what is happening right now and know that it is wrong and full of injustice and wickedness.
It is important to be reminded that as children and heirs to the promise of heaven that we never bend or yield to the darkness. We do not negotiate on the definition of marriage, we do not negotiate on the value of life, we do not negotiate the meaning of the rainbow and his promise not to flood the world, we do not negotiate when he gives us instructions to carry out private business in a mannerism that is contrary to current Federal or State laws. There are no settlements and no democratic committee "debates". There is simply obeying his commands and standing on his promises!
So prepare yourselves saints for the type of conflict ahead where you will not be able to idly stand by and hope for superficial "peace". This peace is a false peace under a lie and is meant to bring confusion and division into the Body of Christ. Be on guard in the spirit and remember that in the end, love will be the thing that saves you.
Have hope that one day all conflict will be resolved. He never contradicts himself.
I continually speak protection over you, those nameless saints around the world and those Churches that have established their ministries with us here at The Empowerment Center and ChurchFreedom. Lord, continue to protect them, set them apart and provide for them every need they have in Jesus name.
