Brand Strategy Definition (Stand Out from the Competition)

04:39
Brand Strategy Definition is pretty simple. The branding marketing strategy is about showing what your business stands for. Here’s a checklist I created called Branding For Beginners or as some would like to refer to as Branding for Dummies. It will help you figure out what your brand should consist of: ⭐️⭐️FREE DOWNLOAD (CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER)⭐️⭐️ https://fabandfocused.lpages.co/branding-guide/ In this video, I give you easy to follow branding strategies so you can implement them right away. Now, let’s talk about from some Branding Basics. So, many people ask “Why is product branding important?” or “What is the importance of Branding?”. The reason why it’s so important is that it helps you stand out from the competition. The importance of product branding is not the product itself but the values your business holds. Branding on social media can feel impossible or too competitive but the truth is that if you show your authentic self to people, it will be easy for you to attract the right people and grow your business fast. For example, by branding yourself on Instagram as someone people can relate, people will see how sincere and real you are and want to buy what you’re selling. When it comes to branding your business, always think about the overall message you’re trying to send. This will make branding a business easier for you. Also, realize that the branding guidelines for a small business are not the same as that of a bigger one like Nike. It's more about the person behind the brand. YOU. So, the best way to do your branding research to find your tribe is by making a list of things of the type of person you want to associates themselves with you. Branding yourself on social media is not as hard as people think. I hope this video gives you clarity on the branding meaning and importance, Brand Strategy Definition and how branding yourself is not as complicated as you think. If you ever have any trouble coming up with ideas, re-watch this video and make sure to download the branding for dummies checklist I created. 16 FAMOUS LOGOS WITH A HIDDEN MEANING (That We Never Even Noticed)

06:33
How to design a successful logo? How to build a famous brand for your business? Some of the most well-known logos in the world were purposefully designed to indicate something much more than simple beauty. In fact, it seems that in some cases, every line, curve, and color has meaning behind it. Adidas, Apple, BMW, Coca-Cola, Toyota… We see these famous brands everywhere but never consider what their logos exactly mean. Curious to know the secret? Watch the 16 famous logos with a hidden meaning you've never noticed. #logomeaning #logosecret # Hyundai 0:33 The letter ’Н’ symbolizes two people – a client and a representative of the company – shaking hands. Adidas 0:52 The current logo is three stripes at an angle which together form a triangle. This symbolizes a mountain, which in turn represents the challenges that all sportsmen have to overcome day after day. Apple 1:21 Rob Janoff, the designer who came up with the world-famous Apple company logo, explained his idea in one of his interviews. He bought a bag of apples, placed them in a bowl, and spent time drawing them for a week, trying to break the image down into something simple. Vaio 1:58 The first two letters of the Vaio logo symbolize an analogue wave. The last two are similar to the numbers 1 and 0 — that is, symbols of a digital signal. Amazon 2:14 The orange arrow is similar to a smile because the company wants its customers to be satisfied. The arrow is also stretched between the letters ’A’ and ’Z’, in a hint that the company sells absolutely every product you can imagine. Baskin Robbins 2:40 The pink-colored parts of the "BR" section make up the number 31, which is how many ice cream flavors Baskin Robbins used to famously sell. Toyota 2:56 The logo represents a stylized image of a needle eye with a thread passing through it. This is a hint at the company’s past – they used to produce weaving machines. Continental 3:28 Continental, a famous car tire producer, has a logo in which the first two letters depict a car wheel. Formula 1 3:41 If you look carefully at the white space between the letter ’F’ and the red stripes, you can see the number 1. Pinterest 3:59 On Pinterest, people collect images they like from across the Internet and ’pin’ them to their online boards. That’s why the image of a pin is hidden in the letter P. Beats 4:17 Beats, an audio equipment producer based in the USA, uses a logo in which the letter ’B’ looks like headphones on a person’s head. Toblerone 4:32 The famous chocolate company based in Bern, Switzerland, has a silhouette of a bear in its logo. That's because Bern is sometimes called a city of bears. BMW 4:55 The logo is simply a part of the Bavarian flag, the area of Germany where the company originated. LG 5:18 The logo is a stylized image of a person’s face. According to the company, this represents its aspiration to have human relations with their customers. Evernote 5:34 The corner of the elephant’s ear is folded over in a similar way how people fold the corner of a page to make notes. Coca-Cola 5:57 In the space between the letters ’O’ and ’L’, you can see the Danish flag. It’s purely a coincidence. Nevertheless, Coca-Cola has used this as part of its marketing campaigns in the Scandinavian country. If you’ve enjoyed this video, hit that thumbs up button! The Sunday Talk – Personal Branding

10:23
The question is no longer IF you have a personal brand, but if you choose to guide and cultivate the brand or to let it be defined on your behalf. What is personal branding? Personal branding is the practice of people marketing themselves and their careers as brands. While previous self-help management techniques were about self-improvement, the personal branding concept suggests instead that success comes from self-packaging. Why personal branding essential to career success. Personal branding provides a clear focus on personal development while establishing yourself as a thought leader. It also works wonders for career success, allowing individuals to pursue whatever it is that they’re passionate about. The mutual relationship between career success and personal branding is a truly unique dynamic that, when understood, has the potential to launch a person to new heights. What is a brand

For more Info on Welingkar's PGDM Distance Learning Program: http://bit.ly/16o0OSy A brand can be defined as a combination of psychology and science as a promise mark, as opposed to a trademark. Brand conveys a uniform quality, credibility and experience. The basic difference between a product and a brand is that a product is what comes out of the factory and a brand is what reaches the consumers. 15 Mistakes That Shorten the Life of Your Phone

09:07
How to charge the battery correctly? Why do the phone batteries decrease so quickly? We have 15 amazing tips that will make your smartphone live a longer life! Nowadays one can hardly imagine life without a cell phone. And it happens quite often that our gadgets start to act up just half a year after we bought them. It is frustrating, but in most cases, we ourselves are to blame! Let’s face it — we don’t always handle our devices properly. TIMESTAMPS Recharge your battery more often 0:45 Don’t keep the battery charging all the time 1:24 Don’t buy cheap chargers 2:01 Be careful with «ultrafast» chargers 2:28 Remove your protective case 2:49 Drain your battery from time to time 3:10 Avoid high temperatures 3:29 Avoid cold temperatures 4:02 Avoid bright wallpaper and adjust screen brightness 4:34 Watch out for voltage fluctuations 5:19 Clean the ports and wipe the display 5:45 Keep the phone far from water 6:40 Handle your phone carefully 7:15 Avoid software updates 7:42 Use cloud storage 8:29 SUMMARY - To increase your gadget’s battery life, you should recharge it more often. The best option is to do it each time the battery power indicator drops to 10-20%. This will increase the number of discharge cycles up to 1000-1100 cycles. - An inbuilt controller stops the battery from taking more current than necessary, so there is absolutely no risk of overcharging the battery and destroying it. - There have been situations when a person was using a non-native charger, and it caused a fire in the house! And another terrible thing that can happen if you use non-native chargers and cables is getting an electric shock. - We recommend you to avoid using chargers that claim to charge your battery fully in less than an hour. - If your smartphone has a bulky protective case, it might cause the device and its battery to overheat during a lengthy recharging session. - It is recommended to discharge your phone’s battery every three months to 0% and then immediately charge it to 100% to get rid of the extremes of full charge/discharge. - A high temperature is the worst thing you can imagine for lithium-ion batteries: they totally can’t stand overheating. - Carry the phone in an inner pocket of your coat or an outer pocket but encased in a protective covering. Low temperatures are harmful to the battery because it needs more power to keep itself warm enough to function. - Try to lower the brightness of your screen at least by 30-40%. - At the approach of a thunderstorm, never charge your phone. Actually, the same goes for all the electrical appliances you have. - To wipe the screen, use lint-free wipers and whatever you do, never use window cleaning liquids. They contain ammonia which can damage the screen irrevocably. - If you drop your cell phone into a pool or a sink, the first thing you should do after you get it out is turn it off and remove the battery (if it’s possible, of course). - Don’t put your cell phone on the dashboard when driving. Constant moving and bumping can cause a lot of damage. - Read user reviews before you hit the update button. The problem with such updates is that it’s either very hard or impossible to go back to the previous version of the software. - Even if you have a lot of free space on your hard drive, it’s better to use cloud storage anyway. This way your phone won’t be clogged with too much data so that it will perform much better. How can a data breach impact brand loyalty and reputation?

03:07
Jim Steven talks about the reality that organisations don't always consider how a data breach might impact the individual and thereafter what impact this might have on whether the customer will use the service in the future. When organisations put the right reassurance and aftercare in place this can help them retain relationships and manage potential reputational damage.

APA Insurance (East Africa) Superbrands TV Brand Video

03:20
APA Insurance is a Superbrand. ------ Subscribe to Superbrands TV today: YouTube: https://goo.gl/U6IfvF Facebook: https://goo.gl/wrBqkk Facebook (Superbrands Limited): https://goo.gl/twsdui Instagram: https://goo.gl/DZmRw1 ------ APA Insurance is a Superbrand. Formed in 2003 after the merger of the general businesses of Apollo Insurance and Pan Africa Insurance, APA is one of the largest insurance companies in Kenya. With over 100 years experience in the East African market, APA Insurance has established itself as the provider of a wide and innovative range of affordable and relevant insurance products for both individual and business customers. The brand is defined by its empowering promise to 'rewrite the rules of insurance', and by the efforts of the company to simplify application procedures, do away with red tape, broaden the socio-economic scope of its customer base and provide cover where none was available before. All offer proof of this inspiring commitment. Hidden beneath all the standard insurance categories such as motor, agriculture, aviation, personal accident, liability and health, are truly imaginative and helpful forms of coverage designed to address the unique needs of the East African people. These include property coverage for Terrorism and Political Violence; coverage against drought for pastoralist communities; coverage for breast cancer for older women; and many other unique forms of coverage. In addition to providing communities with the type of insurance they need, APA also gets involved on a more humane level through its wide and varied CSR programme. Projects include conserving the environment, safeguarding clean drinking water, empowering youth and promoting health and education amongst the less privileged communities. APA is also blazing a technology trail, offering insurance via mobile and online automated premium calculators and using state of the art RFID technology to identify cattle for livestock insurance purposes. In 2013, APA Insurance was recognised as the Best Claim Settlement Company of the Year, the most Socially Responsible Company and secured the Runners Up spot in the General Insurer of the Year category at the annual Insurance Awards, generally acknowledged as the industry's Oscars. It is without doubt the brand's adherence to the principle of rejecting conventional wisdom and always 'thinking out of the box' that has elevated APA to this exalted position. A position that any true Superbrand should consistently occupy. Superbrands: The most respected universal seal of enduring excellence.

Branding- Your Branding Blueprint

01:09
http://www.yoursmartbrand.com/blueprint -FREE BRANDING BLUEPRINT Branding - its importance and what a brand is from a marketing perspective. Branding is paramount to any business and its success. From a marketing perspective how can a brand or branding of a product be such an integral part? Branding is the heart of your company and the path to success but not every company needs it and some will need it far more so than others. Branding suggests a way and a method to how you best please your customers and what your business means to them. Your business needs to set itself apart from the rest, in other words your competition. If your branding is effective then you can stand out from the crowd. In any business there are several companies offering the same service but why should a customer choose your business over any of the others? Simple, you have a good branding, or at least you should have. Branding comes in several forms. It is not simply the name of your company or the design of your logo but the way you have feedback from (hopefully) satisfied customers and testimonials. The way you advertise is part of your branding too. How are you marketing your business? These important factors tell customers who you are and what you represent. Your task when branding is to get into the customer's mindset what you are all about. You will need to be confident and give the potential customer a feeling that you are proud of your business ethic. This installs confidence in your customer too. It is no good advertising your weaknesses or shortfalls. Remember when Gerald Ratner, owner of several branches of jewellery stores in the United Kingdom, labelled his stock as "just crap?" It was a branding disaster and one that ultimately finished off the chain as a viable business. Branding involves the promotion of your strengths and where you and your business can benefit potential customers. Every business needs to make customers feel at home when they utilise its services or buy from its stores. If you get the branding right, then this can go a long way in creating that successful marketing strategy. When you have a successful branding of your product or service you will find your customers will pay more for your business services or products as opposed to a service that does not provide any kind of branding. Branding helps to install confidence in the customer, otherwise what else makes them buy branded products more confidently than unbranded ones? Branding is one of the most important components of how successful your business can be and if done correctly then, the opportunities are endless. It's a fallacy to think that, the best companies in the marketplace are the wealthiest, it's the ones who use branding correctly using the right channels that, reach out to the largest and targeted audience who enjoy the most success and profits. Its a branding game. Everything you do with your business will effect how your brand will be perceived by your future customers, so finding the right building blocks and gathering a good reputation along the way will greatly enhance your changes and will determine who successful you'll become in your niche. What is Branding and why is it so important to build a good Brand. Many companies have devoted millions (if not billions) of dollars to develop their individualistic brand names to the stature that they are now. What has it taken to build the branding and brand names/vision from the CEO and founding members, untold extensive marketing strategy, years of continued focus and determination, passion, sweat, and hard work, and most importantly, a solid product that performs in the market. The above is just but a glimpse of what it has taken companies, with strong brand names, to reach where they are. Let us break down this 'branding' issues and see what it is, what it takes to make it, how to maintain it and increase its growth in the market. Definition of a Brand and branding The wording might differ as you move from state to state but the basic idea is still the same. A brand is a word, letter, symbol, design, color, phrase, or any other feature that is unique to a certain company\person. This is what identifies the seller's goods or services and distinguishes them from other similar products in the market. The genesis of the word goes through the years back to 1200s and the name has slowly changed to include many things. With each civilization from the 1200s, the brand has acquired new meaning and new dimension. This is primarily what has helped it to become so important in modern business culture. The word has now become synonymous with the word 'identity' when it comes to modern business culture. Branding can stand for, product company or service Companies have been known to pump millions of their revenue into shaping the perception that is created when the brand is shown. E.g., the name Microsoft invokes images of computers, software, technology etc.

Do What You Like, Like What You Do: Bert Jacobs at TEDxBeaconStreet

13:27
Bert discusses why Life is good, a positive lifestyle brand, purposely blurs the lines between work, play, for-proft enterprise and non-profit social work. The lessons learned from his personal and professional experiences illustrate that the keys to a happy and fulfilling life are all around us. Bert Jacobs and his brother John spent five years sleeping in a van and hawking t-shirts in the street before creating the Life is good brand. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. How great leaders inspire action | Simon Sinek

18:35
http://www.ted.com Simon Sinek presents a simple but powerful model for how leaders inspire action, starting with a golden circle and the question "Why?" His examples include Apple, Martin Luther King, and the Wright brothers -- and as a counterpoint Tivo, which (until a recent court victory that tripled its stock price) appeared to be struggling. The B2B Branding Myth, Cut to Shreds in 60 Seconds

01:25
WELCOME TO EPISODE #21 of One Minute Wednesdays, the weekly power minute for entrepreneurs, CEOs, brands, and startups. Subscribe to our blog: http://www.RisingAboveTheNoise.com Free eBook: http://www.risingabovethenoise.com/download/the-lucky-brand-ebook-from-david-brier/ Grab your copy of Brand Intervention: http://a.co/ipzXVhr Read the Full Post here: https://www.risingabovethenoise.com/psst-im-a-human-not-demographic-profile/ If you're on Earth, you're branding. People are people. Not some weird demographic "category" or some stupid label. Hello, I'm a human. A small (but vitally important) detail too many brands forget about. As people, we've been put into one box or another, all based on some theory that supposedly makes it easier to connect to. "I'm a Human" is one of those simple-to-miss elephants in the room that gets overlooked only to be replaced by some "persona" bullshit, or worse, the dreaded B2B/B2C marketing myth. None of us has ever had a dialog with a "profile"—we've only spoken with another human: someone with actual likes, dislikes, loves and hates. So, how about we start getting real? This is the topic of this week's One Minute Wednesday. Hey, I'm a Human, Not Some "Target Market" My buddy Ted Rubin said it best: “If you are only focused on the Money... You risk completely overlooking the People.” I cover this in my book, Brand Intervention, talking about the difference between transactional relationship versus ones built on shared dreams, aspirations, and purposes. B2B is Where Someone Spent Their Time, Not What Defined Them as a Human Being Never lose sight of people as individuals. It's people that make work-related decisions, not some "vague corporate entity." Just as women are people, not merely "housewives" or "moms." The same applies to young adults, kids, people who are in the mature stages of their lives, and those who enjoy certain activities. Yes, we each have those roles, but don't let those roles overshadow their humanity. Not if we ever wish to truly connect our brands with the lives of those we serve with our products and services. leadership » business » entrepreneurship » branding » david brier » rebranding » how to brand » marketing » coaching » storytelling » lewis howes » business ideas » B2B » B2C

Why Events and Gigs are Key for Your Brand & Behind the Scenes of 1DayBB, SPI TV, Ep. 5

08:28
One way to generate raving fans is to create "gigs", or special events - big or small - that go beyond the experience a normal reader or listener might have with your content. When you can bring people together and facilitate community like this, you can simultaneously become more authoritative and spread word about your brand. How? Because when there's something like an event, a webinar, a hangout, a meetup, a get-together of some sort with a specific date and a time, it creates anticipation. It creates buzz, which can not only get people excited, but that buzz can easily be shared leading up to your gig. Then, afterwards your gig becomes proof of community, accessibility, and that you go above and beyond for your audience. Even though these gigs are for just a small percentage of people in your audience, it can have a major impact on your brand for everyone who is a part of it. Chris Ducker and I put on an event called 1-Day Business Breakthrough, which you can find at http://www.1daybb.com/live, where we bring just a limited number of people together in San Diego to mastermind, brainstorm, and come up with killer ideas to break through the barriers that are holding every attendee back in their business. Truly, putting this mini-event together with Chris is one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. Now, we only serve a limited number of people each time, however we share that this event happens. We've created a podcast out of it. It enables us to use previous events to promote new ones, and easily the event has helped us grow our brand and increase our authority as thought-leaders in this space. Here in this video, you'll get a glimpse of the space that we are holding this year's event on April 24th, 2015 - and how it will be run. Like I said, you don't have to put on HUGE events like this - and they don't even have to be in person. Google hangouts, virtual conferences (see http://www.smartpassiveincome.com/session151 for a step by step interview on how to create your own virtual conference), or even just a Twitter chat. Again - something with a date and time that's beyond the normal experience someone might have on your site. Do that, and you'll increase your brand recognition and authority much faster than if you just stuck with all you normally. do. So how are you going to serve your audience in this way in the future? What's one "event" or "gig" you can put on for your audience...and when are you going to do it? Head on over to http://www.watchspi.tv to find Episode 5 of SPITV and leave a comment. Thanks again, and make sure you get your tickets to the live 1-DayBB event on April 24th - the live studio tickets are only on sale for a couple more days, as there are only a few more spots available: http://www.1daybb.com/live Cheers, and thanks again for watching SPI TV! -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Building an email list?
