10 Tallest Women in Hollywood
Subscribe for more amazing videos! ► http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Richest ◄ While we struggle to go a single day without hearing comments about the weight of women in Hollywood, it’s rare that we hear about their height. Unless, of course, someone's making a snarky remark. We all know how difficult it is for women in the media to do virtually anything without garnering attention. And more often than not, the attention is negative. But really, these powerful women should be standing proud and should be celebrating their height rather than hiding it away. Sure, the women in this video might stand a few inches taller than the average woman, but they’ve all used their height to their advantage in one way or another. Some of them are supermodels, some of them are singers, and others still choose to wear their favorite heels without a care in the world as to what others think. Sondra Locke Remembered As Someone Who Stood Up For Women In Hollywood
Sondra Locke, the Oscar-nominated actress for the 1968 film “The Heart is a Lonely Hunter” who was reported dead on Thursday at age 74, is being remembered by Hollywood as someone who stood up for female rights in the industry against powerful men. In 1996, Locke settled a legal suit with her ex-husband and frequent co-star Clint Eastwood after she contended that the actor and director sabotaged her career and duped her by dangling the promise of a directing deal at Warner Bros. At the time, the Los Angeles Times quoted her as saying that her suit was never about the money. “It was about my fighting for my professional rights,” Locke said at the time. “People cannot get away with whatever they want to, just because they’re powerful.” A comment by her lawyer Peggy Garrity similarly should stir resonance in this age of the #MeToo movement: “It was about power and the arrogance of power,” Garrity said. “I see her as sort of an Everywoman for the ’90s.” In their tributes to Locke on Friday morning, people are reacting by expressing that Locke’s legacy should not be remembered through the lens of the man to whom she was married but by the strengths of her own performances and, however short-lived, directorial accomplishments. “Sondra Locke, like Barbara Lowden, deserves to be known for her work, not for the famous man she was disastrously involved with,” author Sarah Weinman tweeted. https://www.sfgate.com/entertainment/the-wrap/article/Sondra-Locke-Remembered-as-Early-Pioneer-13467017.php http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by YT Wochit Entertainment using http://wochit.com

V!VA: "The Headless Women of Hollywood" project
On today's episode, we look back at some of the most attention grabbing events and initiatives that celebrate Women and our contributions to the world in recognition of the International Women's Day. The New York Times launched the Overlooked series to celebrate remarkable women who deserved to be on their obituaries but didn't since the publication started its obituaries section in 1851. Meanwhile, The Headless Women of Hollywood: a movie poster project that shines a light on Hollywood’s continued and blatant sexism takes over the internet this month. The project catalogues all the heinous posters from across the TV, film and advertising industries that include women’s headless anatomy as their main selling point. Also on VIVA, the death of Sudan, the world's last 'eligible bachelor'. Lady Gaga gives emotional and empowering speech at ELLE's 25th annual Women in Hollywood #WIH
00:04:00 I tried on dress after dress today getting ready for this event, one tight corset after another, one heel after another, a diamond, a feather, thousands of beaded fabrics and the most beautiful silks in the world. To be honest, I felt sick to my stomach. And I asked myself: What does it really mean to be a woman in Hollywood? We are not just objects to entertain the world. We are not simply images to bring smiles or grimaces to people’s faces. We are not members of a giant beauty pageant meant to be pit against one another for the pleasure of the public. 00:05:24 We women in Hollywood, we are voices. We have deep thoughts and ideas and beliefs and values about the world and we have the power to speak and be heard and fight back when we are silenced. 00:05:50 So, after trying 10 or so dresses, with a sad feeling in my heart, that all that would matter was what I wore to this red carpet, I saw an oversized Marc Jacobs suit buried quietly in the corner. I put it on to a resounding view of eyes glaring at me in confusion. But the Rodarte was so beautiful! one said. But the Raf Simons for Calvin Klein was so stunning on you! said another. But what about the Brandon Maxwell? What about the Dior? Lots of questions. They were all dresses. This was an oversized men’s suit made for a woman. Not a gown. And then I began to cry. In this suit, I felt like me today. In this suit, I felt the truth of who I am well up in my gut. And then wondering what I wanted to say tonight become very clear to me. As a sexual assault survivor by someone in the entertainment industry, as a woman who is still not brave enough to say his name, as a woman who lives with chronic pain, as a woman who was conditioned at a very young age to listen to what men told me to do, I decided today I wanted to take the power back. Today I wear the pants. In an age where I can barely watch the news, I gasped at the unjust men, and some women quite frankly, that I see running this country. I had a revelation that I had to be empowered to be myself today more than ever. To resist the standards of Hollywood, whatever that means. To resist the standards of dressing to impress. To use what really matters: my voice. After I was assaulted when I was 19 I changed forever. Part of me shut down for many years. I didn’t tell anyone. I avoided it myself. And felt shame even still today standing in front of you. I feel shame for what happened to me. I still have days where I feel like it was my fault. After I shared what happened to me with very powerful men in this industry, nobody helped me. No one offered my guidance or a helping hand to lead me to a place where I felt justice, they didn’t even point me in the direction of the mental health assistance I was in dire need of. Those men hid because they were afraid of losing their power. And because they hid, I began to hide. I hid for a long time until I started to feel physical pain. Then I had to go to the doctor because I didn’t know what was wrong with me. And then I was diagnosed with PTSD and Fibromyalgia, which many people don't think is real, and I don't even know what the fuck to say about that. But I’ll tell you what it is. It’s a syndrome that is essentially a cyclone of stress induced pain. And I really wish my friend Lena Dunham was here tonight because I think she could probably articulate this much better than me. And I hope we can all agree that she’s a remarkable woman. Depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma—these are just a few examples of the forces that can lead to this tornado of pain. So what I would like to say in this room of powerful women and men today is let’s work together to beckon the world towards kindness. I’m fortunate enough now to have the resources to help me. But for many, the resources either don't exist or people don't have the ability to pay for or access them. I want to see mental health become a global priority. We’re not able to control all of the challenges and tragedies that life throws our way. But we can work together. This room can work together to heal each other. And we can also try to find the strength in the best way that we can to ask for help if we need it. ... It is my personal dream that there would be a mental health expert teacher or therapist in every school in this nation and hopefully one day around the world. Let’s lift our voices. I know we are, but let’s get louder. And not just as women. But as humans. And see that there are great men in the world. And ask them to hold our hands. For justice. That our voices be heard. Whatever our story may be. For an equal standing. We will fight for justice for women and men and those with other sexual identities. For me, this is what it means to be a woman in Hollywood. It means, I have a platform. I have a chance to make a change. I pray we listen and believe and pay closer attention to those around us to those in need....Be a helping hand. Be a force for change. 00:20:03

He is famous for setting multiple world air-speed records, building the Hughes H-1 Racer and H-4 Hercules aircraft, producing the movies Hell's Angels, Scarface and The Outlaw, as well as owning and expanding Trans World Airlines. Howard Hughes revolutionized the commercial airlining in the 40's and 50's as we know it today. Hughes is also responsible for building the world's largest airplane, first communication satellites and remote control missiles. Despite not having finished any higher education, Hughes was a self learned and ingenious inventor that led humanity and civilization one step further in its evolution.

In Hollywood Men are Women and Women are Men - Hardcore Bible Facts
John the Witness with Hardcore Bible Facts on the Mind Blowers Channel... In Hollywood Men are Women and Women are Men Editor’s Note: The practice of using cross dressing actors goes back to the days of Shakespearean plays when women were not allowed to act in plays because it was considered improper. So they used young, fresh faced boys to dress as women. Are you kidding? So it is improper for women to play women in romantic play scenes, yet it was acceptable for young boys to dress up as wives and girlfriends of adult male actors? Sick pedophile thespians! In recent years, there have been a number of YouTube channels exposing the Hollywood practice of presenting men as women and women as men. Given the very Satanic, deceptive nature of Hollywood and the mainstream media, this should not come as any surprise to awake, alert Christians. But some still refuse to believe this is possible. And the question I have is: why not? Be sure to check out my previous video “How to Understand the Ugly Truth About This World” in order to realize that all true facts, including the creation of male and female, belong to Jesus Christ, who said He is the truth. If you don’t understand that Jesus is the truth, then you will not believe that Hollywood would be deceptive with our perception of what a male and female is. Still with me? Excellent! If you understand that Jesus Christ is truth, then you also understand that all true facts since the Creation belong to Jesus Christ. This is why, for example, Satan lied and told Eve that she will not die if she eats of the forbidden tree. Why did he say this? Because God said they will surely die. And when God says it, then it is a certified fact. Period! Thus, Satan told Eve the opposite of what God told her through Adam. Get it? If not, pause and replay that. If you look at the book of Job, God was so pleased with Job’s faith and good works that he bragged to Satan about Job. God spoke true facts about Job to Satan. So what did Satan do? He said Job was the opposite of what God said. Why did Satan do this? Because Satan cannot admit to or support the truth, because he is a liar from the beginning, and lying is his nature. Are you still with me? Good [read the rest on our main website at hardcorebiblefacts.wordpress.com and hear the rest in this video!] Pray on that and Keep this in mind. Lady Gaga, Charlize Theron, Keira Knightley attend Elle Women in Hollywood event
(16 Oct 2018) LADY GAGA, CHARLIZE THERON, KEIRA KNIGHTLEY ATTEND ELLE WOMEN IN HOLLYWOOD EVENT After its second week, "A Star is Born" continues to be a box office success, including a number one spot for the soundtrack which has surprised even Lady Gaga herself saying, "I'm living a dream, pinch me." "I can't believe everything that's going on," said Gaga. "It's been such an honor to work on this film with Bradley Cooper and the entire cast and the crew. Everyone was just so wonderful and to have all of this happen is an absolute dream come true and you know, also for the soundtrack to be number one." Gaga was one of the women honored Monday (15 OCTOBER 2018) night at the 25th annual Elle Women in Hollywood gala. Other honorees included Keira Knightley, Charlize Theron, Sarah Paulson, Mia Farrow and Shonda Rhimes. Since "A Star is Born" hit the film festival circuit, critics started conversations about a possible Oscar nomination for Gaga's performance. The artist said that her work on the film is the biggest reward she could hope for. "I am incredibly humbled by that comment. I appreciate that so much," said Gaga. "Of course, it would be wonderful but the true reward for me is in the creative process and in making this film and I will always hold that in my heart forever." When asked about what she would like to see happen in the aftermath of #MeToo, Gaga said she'd like to see a unity of the sexes on the matter. "You know what I think will be wonderful? It's to see not just women come together but for men to come together with women and that we all stand together in terms of this issue. I think it something that is important," said Charlize Theron had a pragmatic view on what still needs to change to make true gender equality happen. "We have to have legislation change to protect us, that needs to happen," said Theron. "But I feel like women – there's a solidarity and there's a real momentum behind this movement that has not slow down, if anything it's just picked up. And I think in my entire career, that's what's different. I feel like there's never been this kind of momentum where something has kind of stayed in the conversation for this long and so I think that gives me real hope that this is the moment." When asked her opinion about Senator Elizabeth Warren possibly running for US President in 2020, Theron replied, "I'm so OK with that." "American Horror Story" actress Sarah Paulson said she felt very grateful to have a job that pays her bills and allows her to buy nice gifts for those she loves. At 43, Paulson also said she fees lucky that her age hasn't been a factor of her success but says when giving younger actresses advice on dealing with Hollywood's gender pay gap, things can get tricky. "I think it's really hard because from the business perspective you know, you have to earn your stripes. You can expect to make what you will make later on in your career when you've got more experience," said Paulson. "But there should be no disparity between what a man makes and what a woman makes, that is for sure. But more than giving them advice about how to financially deal with the realities, I would just say to try to remain true to the thing that makes you, you." In celebration of the evening, Elle made a donation to Time's Up Legal Defense Fund - which Keira Knightley said has been one of the most important things the US and the UK has done to help women facing harassment. Depiction of Women in Hollywood
While on one hand Hollywood is staying true to its tradition of misogyny and stereotypical portrayal of females, many movies directed by men and women alike are starting to portray a more accurate picture of women. You decide.
