no.. F that. tell those people to go but some trash bags and bag all that trash. what kind of slobs just throw all their trash all over the front yard like that? the city shouldnt have to pay just because they wanna throw away their entire house. they should pay. they should gradually set out all that trash so it isnt piled up all over the yard like that or take it to the dump them selves. dont F the system just because your too lazy to bag up your own construction trash and deal with it properly.
People still buy iphones because they work. Developers love them because its easier to create apps for a set few devices and not dozens of different android models that exist. Security is been cutting edge, while android literally gives away user information. Lastly iphones just work, the learning curve is much easier, hence why so many elderly and children catch on so quickly.
Android OS is still great, Samsung just needs to stop stealing features from literally every other manufacturer. But it comes down to what you use it for and what your okay with giving up.
Millions of people already are vegan, giving up cars and kids. And more importantly, the US government will NOT take these actions until most people are already doing it. China is the type of country that can force it's citizens to give up cars, meat, and bio kids, but America is not.
if you think none of that is news, congratulations on being so well informed. this is normal with regards to the standard of what is considered news. i assure you most other news sites won't go into that much detail, and would consider a new iphone news itself
Whats the news part? it being very profitable is not news. The shortage of OLED is not news. The use of product segmentation and the compromise effect goes back to the 1920s so thats not news. So whats left? Apple released a expensive phone.
here is a summarised version: today apple announced the release of the best iphone it's ever made bla bla bla so why after introducing the most profitable electronics device of all time and selling 1 billion of them is apple introducing a high-end device now, well it might be because apple is gonna sell too many iphones bla bla bla not enough oled bla bla bla it's ok, they are gonna use product segmentation and the compromise effect so its all gonna be fine.
ArtificiallyFlavord I personally follow a quasi-vegan diet. I can completely stop eating meat, but I am a chef and tasting food is something I do constantly. However, when I am not working, I don't eat any animal products.
When people while about carbon output from industry but don't realize our lives wouldn't exist without fossil fuels, plastics, petroleum.
Everything you see and touch is made possible by fossil fuels.
Either choose death or fossil fuels
Well, we can perceive this 1 - A man who was kicked in his testicles as a youth , 2 -a female who just happens wear a combinations of apparel to be perceived as male, or 3 - It shouldn't matter because that Vice news journalist is wearing a jacket that I want now, cause it looks very nice. I currently have a similar one but it never looked that nice even when new, but it's fraying and needs replacement.
I don't understand why she was posting her campaign stuff on her personal page...she said it wouldn't have mattered but of course it does and would have mattered. Sorry, you should not be allowed to do that. As for the cost of the violations though, that seems a bit harsh, but I understand why they have to come down hard on these kinds of things.
John Petersen I personally believe overpopulation is one of humanity's most pending threats. It's predicted that by 2050 the world's population will rise to 9 billion. I also believe that most of the problems we face today are a result of the discovery of agriculture.
PureHeavenlySultan I'd say the biggest change is the software, iOS 11 was released today, I have an IPhone 7+, but haven't received the update yet. The iPhone 8 will also be capable of wireless charging, other than that the IPhone 8 will also have a new faster processor, better camera. I won't upgrade to the 8, but I do want to upgrade to the iPhone X.
The iphone 8 seems like a pretty boring, if standard, iphone upgrade. However, the iphone x comes off like a blatant rip off, with its obscene price point and 'new' features that are already exemplified to an extent on competitor smartphones.
Facial recognition and wireless charging are already present features in the Samsung Galaxy product line, which can be purchased in the 700 to 800 dollar price range. So basically the phone hardware, like normal, is still being improved upon from previous models, but the only piece that appears to be unique is the use of the facial recognition in their payment/emoji apps.
What a shity end message seems like your reporter basically saying it's not a big deal if you don't recycle or try to reduce your carbon footprint because it's not going to matter it's the corporations that are the only ones that can change anything that's a pretty dim message and critically ignorant and then to followed up by saying perhaps it would be a good idea to continue to recycle and maybe use condoms?? That is ridiculous how did your producer let you do this piece with an ending like that? What are inappropriate ignorant message to send to people all over the world
Just letting you know, the message was ' the best thing one could do was elect representatives who have a priority on clean energy, and force those representatives to live up to their promises'
It's not necessarily dim. It's just the best thing to do is something different from what most people have expected.
Tyler: It's not about people who cannot. I don't expect you to drive electric car if you cannot afford any. If you cannot recycle don't. But in world where you can afford It's enough that you understand what's good and wrong. In the world where you can recycle please do recycle. And frankly by not having a car you are prob doing quite good for future even if you do not care.
Exactly. And first saying buying or having electric car will not help. But then says that petrol companies emission is counted for 70%. Where is logic in it? When more ppl will use electric cars market of this companies will shrink, and they will hopefully produce less pollution. I'm missing VICE from 1-3 season where they weren't so inaccurate and poorly sourced.
iPhones last years, too. I know many people that have iPhone 4s and 5s from several years ago. Why do you assume that new models coming out means that the phones themselves don't last? People buy the new phones because of the hype behind the features and changes. My dad buys a new car every four years but that doesn't mean his old car doesn't work anymore. What's the point of throwing in that you don't use your phone much? That hurts your argument, if anything. Did you ever think maybe that's why your phone lasts so long? Not using something can have that effect...it must suck if you don't use it much.
