Hey Ashley and Dorian great video tutorial. This was very helpful. However, it made me think of a question and I was hoping that you would answer it please. Do you or can you wear a button down collar with a vest and a tie as a combo?
Awesome video!!! I loved it!!! Can i have a request? One of the things i am struggling lately is watching all of your videos and having to remember every point that is mentioned on every video. Its just too much information to remember. Days come when you are trying to go by the rules whether it applies to style, grooming or dating and you don't have the time to go back and watch all the videos. Or you try to look for the video that talks about something in specific but you cant find it lol. I guess my question would be, how to get organized when watching tutorials on YouTube? Thank you guys!
Im slim already. I just need slim tailored clothing. I can say that my body dress the clothing and not otherwise.
Also i would say that it depends where is the extra clothing in a way to build a 3d looking where it needs to. There are also ways to decrease body 3d that are skinny clothing or those pressure vests for example but i highly recommend staying away from those type of things to avoid health damage. If a person wants to lose 3d volume the gym is the best way. Avoid unneed 3d removel cirugy (bone/fat removals for example) aswell.
Black clothings cuts with the curves/shapes of a person. What is good if a person wants to hide them.
Grey and navy clothing are the ones that fit me better.
Do to my training. I change sizes dramatically over the months. I am 6'1" and my waist will change from 31' to 36'.
Weight will be 180lbs to 260lbs. I understand that a good tailor is recommended but, I am looking for a way not to have to buy several sports coats or suits for my day to day work and casual style that fit properly. Will vests or sweaters go well for business attire or more special social outtings.... Date Nights
I am a bigger gentleman (thank you for that phrase) and have trouble with fitted pants (finding or altering) as I need the room when I sit down (off and on) during the day but when you stand it can look baggier. I am also loosing weight and have had to replace my wardrobe once already so I have to have less and do more with it. Also, an important note is that I am a teacher in high school and wear a tie 2-3 times a week but in a more business casual approach. Suggestions?
More like, take good care of your diet. Of course, go to the gym as well, but exercise doesn't burn as much calories as most people think. Focus on proper diet as the main source of caloric deficit and resistance training to provide the stimulus to retain or even build muscle. Cardio/GPP optional to burn the extra bit of calories as well as improving cardiovascular health and work capacity.
Depending on weather you have a kinda hourglass figure (as in your waist is smaller then your shoulders or hips) or just a straight rectangle (waist is roughly equal to your shoulders and hips) you want to do different things.
If you have an hourglass build then i would recommend sticking to clothing that tapers in slightly for the waist, this can be anything from a field jacket, pea coat, or a well tailored suit jacket. try to get these with all relatively contestant weight, by this i mean if its a suit jacket, don't by a suit jacket that has padded shoulders, this kinda throws your body out of proportion.
if you're more rectangular then I'd recommend layering mostly as your best friend. you'd still want to buy relatively straight cuts for tops, so a outer layer with no tapper at the waist. If you do pad with a rectangular body shape, it throws things really far out of proportion.
As far as pants are concerned, I'd suggest sticking to straight or slim fits, and try to again avoid excessive tapering or skinny fits. a straight fit allows for a continues and proportional look compared to a tapered one, tapering will make your legs seem far too small for your own body.
Obviously don't take any of what I'm saying as gospel, just explore and try and find what looks best for you, but i hope this helped.
+Akash Choudhary good on you, keep your focus and concentrate on your nutrition also. Tailoring your clothes helps but it will cost alot of money. It'll be cost effective to workout and then buy more fitted clothes, so you are not in an endless buying cycle. It took me 10 seconds rather than 10 minutes like this video took.
+punk ask I am complaining to the fact that in your comments you think just going to the gym and eating less will make you less fat so fast that you wouldn't even have to consider changing your wardrobe to suit your current body. That "simple" and "10 seconds done" part triggered my reply. By the way I do workout everyday and I know that it takes some time before you see significant results. Thus my comment. I am not advising anyone to sit on their asses and be unhappy because of it. Just along with working out also change your wardrobe according to your current body.
+Akash Choudhary You ranting instead of going to the gym! I seen fat guys going to the gym and progressing fantastically. The difference between them and you is excuses, you are full of it and they aren't. Keep complaining buddy, you are amazing at it.
Yeah, because losing weight just takes 10 seconds. You just walk into a gym, eat less and you walk out with the body of a fashion model. All in one day. You don't even have to think about what you wear for like a few months because it doesn't take you a few months to gradually lose weight. It takes you one day and then you can wear whatever the hell you want from the next day. Right?
