No Beverly Hills Housewives live in the houses you're looking at. Those are the Hollywood Hills (on the Valley side) facing east toward Griffith Park and Pasadena. The street below on the other side of the freeway is Cahuenga Blvd (going south) which turns into Ventura Blvd at Lankershim, which is the street right below your hotel that ends at Ventura. Cahuenga becomes Ventura as it banks left and starts heading west. Going south on Cahuenga, about 5 minutes from your hotel is the Hollywood Bowl, just on the other side of the hill with all the houses, where the street becomes Highland Avenue! Crazy right? Welcome to LA! I know all this because your hotel is 2 minutes from my office and my stomping grounds! Hope you had a great stay in my neck of the woods!!
I really love these videos where you aren't doing anything in particular and are just kind of wondering around aimlessly and a little lost. They're fun because they're laid back and chill. You don't know what you're going to see. you just go with the flow.
Wow! I didn't know that VooDoo Doughnuts was opening at Universal! They are SO good! Whenever we go to Portland we always bring a big box back home to share with friends! Also, we just got a Smashburger here in Anchorage, Alaska and we LOVE it!
Next time, you guys HAVE to eat at Saddle Ranch right outside the exit of the park. It's amazing and only in a few locations. Had my most memorable meal here 6 years ago when the wait was over an hour for inside seating or no wait for outside because it was about 45 degrees outside. We opted for outside and they stuck us under a nice heat lamp and then offered us AS MANY desserts as we wanted and there desserts are great! They even had a small stone fire pit near our table and one of the desserts we got was smores and we got to roast out own marshmallows! All the food I have enjoyed. You have to try the kettle of onion rings that is served in an actual kettle and could feed a small army, lol.
Love Hilton Hotels. When I was checking out places to stay in California, I found that, apart from Disney Hotels, the surrounding ones not so great. But over near Universal they had a better quality hotel. One day we will go there.
So did the food get cold? Looked like a bit to walk if u ask me. But you guys look great...
Talking about weather, man would I pay som decent amoynt of dollar for <orlando winter weather insted of the winter wich is on its way to my country...Today Tuesday at noon it was 39 farenheit,THATS cold :) And it gonna get much colder. Some days during the winter its -10........HATE winter and snow and the cold......
Greetings from Oslo,Norway...
I just realized, I been to all three City Walks, I been to the movie theater at Hollywood's City Walk, but never been to Universal Studios Hollywood. Osaka is kinda fun, because the train station is at the opposite end from the park, and most people take the train there instead of car.
i used to when i had an annual pass. back when i started going they had an 18 month pass for 1.19 then years later a year for $159 all with no blackout dates now they want 599$ with black out and no monthly plan. :( i have not been a pass holder or inside since 2013 but i would go every week and disneyland every two weeks. now i lost my car due to arson. money is bad right now so i didn't renew this may for my disneyland premiere pass thats now over $1000 and no car. stinks huh? i do have video on my chennel ;) i want to go again to ush
Next time you guys go to Universal City Walk in Hollywood be sure to check out the Karl Strauss restaurant. They have amazing food (including gourmet mac-n-cheese) and even better beers (some of which are also sold in California Adventure). I really feel like you guys would love it...delicious!
Did you guys ever visit the McDonald's across the street from Knott's Berry Farm? It's been a while since I've been there but I think it's super cool because it has several trains running around and a large diorama with trains as well. I used to live in Buena Park and went there all the time as a kid.
Just something cool to see or show if it's still there and you guys find yourselves visiting Knott's Berry Farm again.
At 0:39, thats where celebrities & directors etc live. Theres a park & hiking trail up at the top that has a great view of Universal studios & on the other side, a view of Hollywood. You should check out Griffith Park observatory. The "Griswalds" house From "Vacation" is on the right at the end of the exiting road leaving the observatory. Adam the Woo was there...
I was on a tour of LA and Hollywood back in late-July, and we stopped at an overlook up in the Hollywood Hills where Tim was pointing at the beginning of the video. Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel live right near the top!
Hi Tim and Jen!!! Loving seeing your vlogs out here. The housewives do not live out in LA they actually live in my neck of the woods! Tamra Judge lives in Ladera Ranch (so do a lot of them actually) Kelly and Shannon live in Corona Del Mar and Vicki lives in Coto. When the show began they all lived in the gated community of Coto De Caza but when the market crashed and they all started divorcing they moved to cheaper neighborhoods. (Cheaper than Coto anyway - more in the 600,000s instead of the millions). Tamras gym is in Rancho Santa margarita. So they're all around my neighborhoods. Thought Jen would like the info I know she watches! I went to school with Vickis daughter Breanna. She was a lovely girl actually. You know you're in LA when there's an entire Raiders store! Smashburger is okay but nothing compares to In N Out baby!!!!
theres another one off Hollywood blvd right off the freeway on the way to universal studios you could try next time. i suggest getting two chili cheeseburgers and one chili cheese fries. its a small fast food spot but its a california staple in my opinion. grew up on it. had it every sunday after church.
