5 tips to everyday elegance here: https://youtu.be/0wRQM59Ek6w
Just like our pretty posture, walking properly is beneficial to your health, helps boost your self-confidence & self-esteem & displays your elegance. Good posture is the foundation for poise in your walk, so it's very important to have pretty posture as you walk. After all, a graceful walk is simply good posture in motion.
For a graceful walk, the 3 main parts to focus on are your feet for graceful steps, your back for pretty posture & your arms for an added elegant touch to your graceful walk.
Always remember to keep your pretty posture as you walk. This means, rolling your shoulders back so they are nice & relaxed, away from your ears. Keeping your head up, back straight & core engaged. As you walk forward, keep your gaze forward focusing on where you are walking ahead and your pretty posture will compliment your graceful walk.
Next, it's important you are stepping correctly as you walk with grace. This way your body can function properly & comfortably & your muscles won't be as tired & aching after a long day. To step with poise & ease is as simple as following an imaginary line, stepping with one foot in front of the other. Taking light & gentle steps, transfer your weight smoothly so you aren't taking too long of steps.
For the finishing touch of poise & elegance to your graceful walk, keep your arms relaxed at your sides with a slight bent, just like in your pretty posture. Also, slightly curve your wrist & fingers, so they will brush lightly against your side a you walk. This way you will carry yourself with fluid & gentle movements to display the beautiful, strong & confident lady of grace you are.
If your graceful walk feels a bit awkward at first, it's ok. :) With a little practice, it will soon become a relaxed & natural part of the graceful new you. So you will walk with grace & not only look confident but feel confident too! :) Keep your head up, relax, keep practicing & always look ahead! :)
The way you carry yourself, as you walk gracefully & elegantly with energy & confidence, will help display the beautiful & confident lady of grace you are.♥

ALL of the "graceful" walking in this video looks terribly forced and unnatural. It's mostly the swing of the arms that looks so bad. It's like the person in the video is constantly trying to remember which arm should be forward at what time. Maybe next time present a truly confident walker for a video about such. Otherwise, the information was good.

It's best to first practice these tips without carrying a bag, this way walking gracefully will become second nature for you. And once you have developed this habit of carrying yourself with poise, walking with grace will be natural for you, even while carrying a fifteen pound bag on your back. :)
(However, remember to treat yourself and your back with care by not putting so much weight and strain on your back, so you may keep your confident posture and reduce stress on your spine.)
I was told by my siblings that I walk like an Old Man cause They notice that I walk the same as my dad! I walked like an old man since I was 5 years old so almost my whole life! X-D I'm NOT offended by how I walk, I just want 2 feel more relaxed and more healthy which is why I watched this. :-)

I look really awkward when I walk, I think it's because I have social anxiety and I'm extremely nervous around people, especially in very social places... I feel like people are paying attention to the way I walk or something.
Kim R. One way to relax your arms and your whole body is to just shake your hands. And you could imagine shaking all the nervousness and anxiety out through your arms hands and the tips of your fingers. Just shake it out! It's a great tip and one that a lot of people use – especially performers, since they often get jitters and nervousness before a performance.
Hi Nazi :)
In regard to the pretty posture exercise - the purpose of this exercise is using the wall as your guide to keeping your back straight so you may stand nice & tall. You will be using the wall to help you straighten your spine & practicing this exercise against the wall will help your muscles learn & remember the feeling of standing tall with pretty posture.
This pretty posture exercise is practiced with your back touching the wall, and your feet about 2 inches away from the wall. Also, be sure to relax your arms so they are at your sides & keep your shoulders back.
Once you are standing like this with your back against the wall, slowly bend your knees & slide down the wall until it feels like you are sitting in an imaginary chair. So now, your back should be straight & still touching the wall & your knees will be bent.
Now, keep your back against the wall as you return to your standing position. Push your back against the wall as you slide up, this way every point of your spine is touching the wall. Use your concentration & focus on pressing every part of your back against the wall, this way your mind & your body will recognize & remember the feeling of standing with pretty posture :) This is one complete repetition.
Practice this pretty posture exercise of pressing your back against the wall & sliding down to a sitting position & then back up again, while maintaining pretty posture, four times a day. With time & practice, you will gradually practice this exercise fifteen times a day & notice how it becomes easier throughout your path to becoming elegant & confident!
Hopefully this explanation made it easier for you to understand so you may practice your pretty posture! If you have any more questions, Nazi, I'd more than happy to answer them for you :) I'm very proud of you for choosing to take the path to becoming an elegant lady of grace & confidence! Keep up the great work <3
